Second Avenue

This week we started with the installation of the utilities, with the gas being laid first. So on Monday morning we went around the surrounding area and dropped letters to the local residents explaining the works we were about to carry out.  As we are members of the Considerate Constructors Scheme, we also attached a questionnaire to the letter to gain feedback on any problems or potential problems the residents may have with our project, or the works due to be carried out.

On Thursday it was all hands on deck to ensure the gas installation went smoothly, which by the end of the day it was fully installed and back filled. Meanwhile internally the kitchens were delivered early in the week so the joiner cracked straight on with the fitting of them.

The plumber continued to second fix the flats, with the bathrooms being installed.  At the beginning of the week the electrician was back on site to start with the electrical second fix to the flats.
